Five months in!

It's been almost exactly 5 months since we have moved in and we are pretty happy with our house overall. We had to bust a move before the holidays to get some needed furniture and get some painting done before the holidays, as we invited our whole family from out of state.

Here are some photos of the finished product of our house. I absolutely love the colors we chose and the landscaping turned out pretty nice too. Although as spring nears I will be taking out some of the bushes and moving them elsewhere to plant something different. I also planted 100 daffodil and tulip bulbs in the front in honor of my mother and the one year anniversary of her passing. Spring has arrived early with these warm temperatures and they are already pushing their way through the hard ground and out to greet the sun!

Preparing for Fall!!! Love the decorative cabbage! They have made it all the way through winter!

And the last photos!! We really enjoyed putting lights on the house- it looked beautiful and I can't wait to decorate for christmas next year!

This was taken with the initial lights we put up---they were far too bright so we took them all down and replaced with a softer white with a small bulb. 

Have I said how much I love these cabbages?!
